Payroll & HR Specalist

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who has strong organizational skills and a desire to improve the office environment. This position requires a lot of communication with all employees, so we're looking for a team player with excellent listening skills, organizational abilities and the professionalism to use judgment appropriately when communicating with others.

Responsibilities:

  • This position will process a variety of payroll an HR transaction in a high volume and customer focused administrative role

  • Assisting with records requests, employment verifications, performance reviews, interviewing, orientation, on-boarding and training

  • Accurately processing payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll matters

  • Maintain payroll records, process employee onboarding and offboarding in the payroll system, and generate payroll reports

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing, human resources experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of HR / Payroll or business related experience

  • High School Graduated required; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees, staff and public

  • Ability to carry out assignments using own initiative and general instructions

  • Ability to communicate effectively orally & in writing

  • Ability to maintain accurate records

  • Ability to work well under pressure with lots of data entry

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Project Supervisor

  • Role and responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for all day to day on-site construction activities

  • Daily collaboration with management team, design team and trade partners. Good communication skills are required for good teamwork.

  • Managing, mentoring and motivating all trade partners to ensure the project goals are realized with emphasis on quality, timeliness and cost.

  • Situational and material readiness for trade partners to perform their work efficiently.

  • Communicate the quality standards expected of the sub-contractors throughout project duration specifically including a pre-construction conference and daily quality control standards to ensure the quality of construction is consistent with the Owner’s and Architect’s expectations for the project.

  • Maintain onsite drawings and documentation. Ensure that the trade partners are all using the correct drawings.

  • Scheduling of daily and weekly activities while also documenting all progress made.

  • Focusing on client relationship building, they place high value in exceeding expectations with superior workmanship and commitment to be the best.

  • Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in the construction industry is preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, project manuals and other documentation

  • Ability to motivate team and subcontractors, to lead by example and to help our trade partners do their best work

  • Capable of using a smart phone and laptop for online project management tasks

  • Ability to drive a skid steer, pull and back a trailer.

  • Valid drivers license

  • Management skills: organization skills, proactive planner

  • Capable and willing to help with physical tasks when needed

  • must have reliable transportation

  • Salary - $55,000 - $65,000 (based on experience)
